One of the most common questions we get is: "Will my NGC slabs fit in the same case as my PCGS slabs?" In a CoinConnex case, yes. But the details matter, because NGC, PCGS, CAC, and ANACS holders are all different sizes, and storage designed around one service can disappoint you with another.
Here are approximate exterior dimensions for current standard (non-oversized) holders. Every service has changed its holder design over the years, so treat these as ballpark figures rather than spec-sheet values:

CAC holders are in the same general size class and fit standard slab storage alongside the others.
The takeaway: no two services use the same holder. PCGS slabs are the widest of the three, NGC slabs are the tallest and thickest, and ANACS slabs are the smallest. Each holder differs in all three dimensions, which is why NGC slabs will not fit in PCGS-brand boxes (too tall) and PCGS slabs will not fit in NGC-brand boxes (too wide). Any storage that claims to fit every service has to be designed around the largest slab in each dimension.
Standard holders run roughly 7 to 10 mm thick depending on the service, and plenty of slabs run thicker than standard: older NGC "fatty" holders, sleeved PCGS slabs, and high-relief commemoratives all exceed the normal range. A box that packs slabs side by side and was sized for one service will not deliver its advertised capacity with thicker holders. A row sized for twenty thin slabs can come up several slabs short when filled with NGC holders.
